Larchmont United
Neighborhood Association
A tight-knit community in the middle of the big city.
Who We Are
Welcome to the Larchmont United Neighborhood Association (LUNA)!
LUNA is a grassroots organization uniting neighbors across Larchmont in Los Angeles, CA, to address local challenges, foster connections, and build a stronger, safer, and more vibrant community. Formed by merging micro-neighborhood groups that took shape during and after COVID, LUNA brings together residents from initiatives like Lucerne Arden United, the Larchmont Spring Block Party committee, the North Plymouth Coalition, and neighborhood watch groups across Larchmont.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, LUNA relies on membership to support efforts in safety, land use, and community-building events. Membership is open to all households—homeowners and renters alike—who reside in Larchmont.
Now, more than ever, we're reminded of the importance of community. Join us in shaping the future of our neighborhood while fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and connection. Together, we can make Larchmont thrive.

Our Philosophy
At Larchmont United Neighborhood Association (LUNA), we believe that strong neighborhoods are built on collaboration, open communication, active involvement, and investment in our community. We are committed to fostering a community where every voice matters and every neighbor is empowered to contribute. By working together, we can preserve Larchmont’s unique character while embracing thoughtful growth and ensuring that our neighborhood remains safe, connected, and vibrant for future generations.
A gem in the center of Los Angeles
Larchmont is one of the most unique neighborhoods in Los Angeles and holds a special place in the hearts of Angelenos. The section of Larchmont Boulevard that runs between Beverly Boulevard and First Street (known as ‘The Village’) has evolved into a popular destination for eclectic shopping and creative cuisine. This area embraces its heritage as one of the city's oldest neighborhoods.
Larchmont is located in Central Los Angeles. It borders Windsor Square, Hancock Park, Ridgewood-Wilton/St. Andrews Square, Oakwood-Maplewood/St. Andrews, and Hollywood (including Paramount Studios).
Larchmont, Larchmont Heights, and Larchmont Village are often used interchangeably to describe our neighborhood. For the purposes of defining the boundaries of the Larchmont United Neighborhood Association (LUNA), the area is made up of the following:
The residential neighborhood within LUNA’s boundaries (see map).
Larchmont Village: The vibrant commercial district of Larchmont Boulevard between Beverly Blvd and 1st.
Upper Larchmont: Larchmont Boulevard between Beverly Blvd and Melrose Avenue.
